Free Event

folks I just got an email today!

Hello Evie & Mark,

Saturday, August 6th at 8:00pm Stargazers' Theatre and Event Center will be
hosting a Stand-Up Comedy Showcase show and we thought it might be something
you and your fellow conference attendees might be interested in! Because it
is our one year anniversary of the comedy show's inception at Stargazers,
there is no charge for tickets. Stargazers' Theatre is located at 10 S.
Parkside Drive (which is only about 6 miles from the Cheyenne Mountain
Resort). For more information please feel free to check out their website
at http://www.stargazerstheatre.com and if you have any questions feel free
to contact me!

Thanks so much!

Star Gazing

Some of you expressed an interest in going for a stargazing excursion if we get clear skies. Cheryl Rogers will co-ordinate this so talk to her at the conference. She will have a sign up sheet at the back.

And pray for GREAT WEATHER on Friday night for our Meet and Greet at the resort.

Evie

Downtown

Colorado Springs is a fairly small town. Downtown is vibrant and bustling at all times of year. In the summer folks sit outside of coffee shops and restaurants. See our post of some local restaurants.

From the Cheyenne Mountain Resort it is about 4 miles to downtown. A cab ride costs around $12 and you can call Yellow Cabs at 719-777-7777 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 719-777-7777 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
